Shayne Herrera, Cryptic’s one and only art director, will be appearing at the Art Institute of California San Francisco to speak about his experiences as an artist in a constantly-changing industry:

“Life as a digital artist” is designed to offer career guidance to digital artists of all experience levels. This lecture will cover numerous subjects ranging from compensation to self/peer critiques to investing energy into an art community. The difference between being a successful artist is talent and knowledge. Bring your talent to “Life as a Digital Artist,” and Shayne will supply the knowledge.

“Life as a Digital Artist” will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in room 10UN of the Institute’s campus, located at 1170 Market, San Francisco, CA 94102, on the fourth floor.
